Le Cinq is the gastronomic table of Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris, a 1928 palace located at 31 avenue George V in the eighth arrondissement (Source : Four Seasons, 2026). The restaurant takes its current form in 1999 during the palace renovation by Pierre-Yves Rochon and earns its third MICHELIN star in 2016 under chef Christian Le Squer.
Four Seasons George V is registered as Palace by Atout France and ranks among the historic institutions of avenue George V. The Le Cinq restaurant owes its name to room number five, the palace gatekeeper suite. Christian Le Squer, born in Morbihan, took over the kitchens in 2014 after running Pavillon Ledoyen and Ledoyen Paris. He earned the third star in 2016, two years after arriving, and maintained that level for ten consecutive years (Source : Four Seasons, 2026).
