Wellness Wallonia

Wellness Wallonia designates the commercial offer of spas, thermal baths, retreats and wellness-focused hotels located in Wallonia, organised around four hubs: Spa-Francorchamps (natural thermal baths), Chaudfontaine (hot water), Durbuy (Adventure Valley spa) and Walloon Brabant (Aspria, seminar castles). The segment represents around 18 per cent of premium Walloon hotel nights according to Wallonie Belgique Tourisme. The dominant clientele is Belgian (60 per cent), Dutch (18 per cent), French (12 per cent), with smoothed seasonality (peak October-March). A notable point: Wallonie Belgique Tourisme launched in 2022 the Wallonia Wellness quality label intended to certify premium complexes (Visit Belgium officiel, 2026).

Radisson Blu Balmoral Spa (123 rooms, Aspria spa), Chateau des Thermes Chaudfontaine, Domaine de Ronchinne (Namur region) and Manoir de Lebioles near Spa (Relais & Chateaux candidate) form the headline properties. Average 2-night wellness package ranges from 380 to 720 euros per person.
