Sol Kerzner

Solomon Kerzner (1935-2020), a South African son of Russian Jewish immigrants, founded the Southern Sun and Sun International groups, then Kerzner International. He conceived the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas and launched the ultra-luxury One&Only resort collection in 2002. His flair for spectacle and grand scale left a lasting mark on global leisure and casino hospitality.
