Menu presentation refers to the art of handing the card to guests according to a precise protocol order. The menu is offered open, beginning with the ladies, then the guest of honour, with the host served last. In refined establishments a price-free card, known as a blind menu, is sometimes given to guests while only the host receives the priced version.
