Kokuryu Shuzo
A brewery in Fukui Prefecture, founded in 1804 and named after the old name of the nearby Kuzuryu River. Renowned for refined and rare sakes, sometimes called phantom for their limited availability, it ranks among the most esteemed producers in all of Japan. Its elegant and sought-after cuvées appear on the lists of fine gastronomic establishments.
