Infinity pool

An infinity pool is the type of swimming pool where one edge is invisible, the water spills over a hidden trough and disappears, so when you're in the water it looks like the pool merges directly with the ocean, the horizon or the valley below. Architect John Lautner first designed one in Acapulco in 1973, but the technique exploded after Marina Bay Sands in Singapore opened its 150-meter-long version in 2010. Today every serious luxury resort has one, Aman Sveti Stefan, Six Senses Zighy Bay, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar in Oman, Cap Rocat in Mallorca, Capella Ubud.
