Hotel storekeeper

Member of staff responsible for receiving, storing and issuing the goods and supplies of a hotel or restaurant. A descendant of the army quartermaster in charge of provisioning, he checks deliveries, manages stores, tracks inventory and supplies the kitchen, bar and floors. Guardian of traceability and cost control, he ensures stock rotation and compliance with hygiene standards.
