French shaker

The French shaker, or Parisian, refers to a two-piece metal shaker comprising a tin and an upper cap, with no built-in strainer, unlike the cobbler model. More elegant than the Boston shaker, it appeals through its clean lines but requires a separate strainer. Prized in European hotel bars for its aesthetic, it demands a precise grip to avoid jamming on opening.
