Fourball

A format pitting two teams of two golfers against each other, with each player playing their own ball and the better score of each pairing counting on every hole. Less constraining than the foursome, fourball lets every player control their own game while drawing on a partner's support. Widely used in match-play, it animates country club competitions and the golf days that resorts organise for their guests.
