An editorially selected set of activities, restaurants and places chosen by a recognised expert, turning hotel concierge service into an authored product. The word borrows from museum curators and magazine editors: the value lies in a confident point of view, not in offering everything. Leading Hotels of the World, Mr & Mrs Smith and Tablet Hotels all publish curated city guides, often signed by a local designer, chef or journalist. The curated concierge is replacing the encyclopaedic one: fewer choices, sharper relevance. Aman has employed cultural curators trained in art history and local anthropology at each destination since 2023.
