Corpse Reviver No. 2

The Corpse Reviver No. 2 refers to a gin cocktail enhanced with orange liqueur, Lillet blanc, lemon juice and a dash of absinthe, shaken and served straight up. Reputed as a hangover remedy, it was popularised by Harry Craddock's Savoy Cocktail Book, published in 1930. Its recipe appears in the International Bartenders Association manual, distinct from the other revivers in the same numbered series.
