Coravin

Coravin is an extraction system that serves a glass of wine without pulling the cork. A thin hollow needle passes through the cork, and pressure from argon, an inert gas, pushes the wine out through the needle. Thanks to its elasticity, the cork reseals once the needle is withdrawn, protecting the remaining wine from oxidation. The tool lets venues offer prestigious wines by the glass without the risk of losing an opened bottle.
