Conrad Hilton

Conrad Nicholson Hilton (1887-1979) bought Cisco's Mobley Hotel in Texas in 1919, the first link in the Hilton chain. He popularised standardised modern hospitality and founded an American dynasty from which Paris Hilton descends. His motto, think big, guided the global rise of the group and of the Conrad palace brand, which carries his first name.
