Clos des Lambrays

A grand cru of Morey-Saint-Denis held as a near-monopole, elevated to grand cru status in 1981. Pinot Noir gives elegant, spicy and finely structured wines here, grown on steep limestone soils. Its singular modern history and near-exclusive single ownership make it a distinctive and characterful cru on great Burgundian wine lists.
