Chevalier-Montrachet

A white grand cru lying on the upper slope just above Montrachet, in the village of Puligny-Montrachet. Its stonier soils and higher elevation give a taut, mineral Chardonnay of great finesse, often judged more ethereal and chiselled than its illustrious neighbour below. Its scarcity and precision make it a sought-after classic on premium wine lists.
