Bramble
The Bramble refers to a cocktail of gin, lemon juice and sugar, served over crushed ice and drizzled with blackberry liqueur that draws purple veins through the drink. It was created in 1984 by bartender Dick Bradsell at Fred's Club in London, inspired by the brambles and blackberries of the English countryside. A modern classic codified by the International Bartenders Association, it exemplifies the British school of the cocktail revival.
