Bordeaux glass

The Bordeaux glass stands out for its tall bowl, less rounded than the Burgundy glass, cut for structured reds based on cabernet and merlot. Its height guides the wine towards the back of the mouth, highlighting the fruit while balancing the tannins. The fairly wide rim releases the aromas without scattering them. Alongside the Burgundy glass, it forms one of the two reference shapes for the service of red wine at the table.
