Beau-Rivage Palace (Lausanne)

The Beau-Rivage Palace is a Swiss palace hotel in Ouchy, on the shores of Lake Geneva at Lausanne, inaugurated on 25 March 1861. Its present main building was constructed in 1908 in an Art Nouveau and neo-Baroque style. The hotel has hosted several major diplomatic events: the Treaty of Lausanne was signed there on 24 July 1923, sealing recognition of the new Turkish state after the First World War.
