Baguette cut
Elongated rectangular step cut, close to the emerald cut but without cropped corners. It usually carries twenty-four facets. Favouring transparency and clean lines over scintillation, the baguette often serves as an accent stone flanking a solitaire or in geometric paving. Palace houses deploy it in art déco creations and line bracelets, where its crisp parallel facets reinforce a sense of architectural order.
